• Awarded Emeritus Fellowship 2013-14 by University Grants Commission, India in 2014 on ‘Significance of Colour in Creation: An Aesthetic Apperception’.
• Honoured by the award of ‘Indo-Hungarian Educational Exchange Programme 2006-07 fellowship by the Hungarian Govt. with the award of a Long-Term Scholarship through the courtesy of University Grants Commission, India. Subject entitled ,’A Scenario of Hungarian Painting in 19th & 20th Century : An Aesthetic Apperception’.
• Offered Senior Fellowship 2012-13 by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, New-Delhi in 2014 on ‘New Possibilities in Fresco Painting’.
• Awarded Minor Research Fellowship by University Grants Commission, India in 2011 on ‘Aesthetic Vision of Rabindranath Tagore.

• Awarded ‘Shiksha Rattan Puraskar’ 2010 for outstanding Services, Achievement & Contribution by I.I.F.S. (India International Friendship Society), New Delhi on 7.01.2010.

Sponsored Group Exhibition: 68 Exhibition at different parts of India.
International Exhibition: 11 exhibitions in India and abroad including five Exhibitions on World Peace.

CAMP/WORKSHOP

National:
• Participated 22 workshop and camp on Natural dye (textile), Metal Casting, Enamel Painting, Painting.
• Conducted 6 workshops as Resource Person in Oil Painting, Colograph, Jaipur Fresco, Enamel Painting, Water colour and Clay Modeling.


International:
• Participated One International Mural Painting camp on Mural on the wall at Kottayam, Kerala in 2013.
• Conducted one Workshop on Jaipur Fresco at Hungarian University of Fine Arts, Budapest, Hungary in 2007.

RESTORATION AND CONSERVATION OF ART WORK

1. Supervised and worked on a project of restoration of Heritage Oil Painting at the Asutosh Museum of Indian Art, Calcutta University sponsored by the National Museum, Delhi from 2000 to 2006.

2. Successfully done Restoration of 140 years old Marble Sculpture of Rev. Alexander Duff and some old oil paintings from a seriously damaged condition at Scottish Church College, Calcutta

3. Restored an old oil painting by Sri Satyen Ghosal (Institute collection) at Govt. College of art & Craft, Calcutta

4. Restored some Folk Art collection and stone sculpture at the Asutosh Museum of Indian Art, Calcutta University, Kolkata

5. Successfully done Restoration of Mural painting in Egg-tempera on the wall of ‘Jewellery Museum”, Gariahat, Kolkata. The painting is quite old (about 80 years) painted in Indian Painting style

6. Restoration of Portrait painting of Sir Asutosh Mookerjee of Asutosh College, 92, S.P. Mukherjee Road, Kolkata – 700 026.

EXTRA–CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Social Work: Honorary Secretary and Council Member of Indian Society for Art & Aesthetics, Kolkata and Honorary Course Director of Fresco Training Course of the Society.With an eye to focus attention on Indian antiquity and its heritage and to revive indigenous artistic propensities in creation Indian Society for Art & Aesthetics introduced its certificate course on Fresco Painting which includes three processes Viz.-
(i) Jaipur Fresco,
(ii) Italian Fresco and
(iii) Tempera Fresco
